If you have some chive seeds here is how to plant them...
Sow indoors: January-December Sow outdoors: March-June Plant out: June Harvest: January-December Indoor sowing: Sow March to April or all year round for pots indoors. Sow thinly in pots or trays of moist compost cover with clear, glass, polystyrene or propagator lid. Keep at 15-20 degrees Celsius and keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 14-28 days. Growing on: Remove cover when seedlings appear. Thin plants to further pots or trays if necessary. To grow outdoors, stand outside for a few days late may (avoid frosts), then transplant 20cm apart in final position. To grow indoors, transplant to 15cm pots of compost, place in a light airy location. Outdoor sowing: Sow thinly in the growing position and cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. When large enough thin as necessary, spacing 20cm apart. Cut the leaves as required once the plants have developed.
