Day 1 of making Chihiro x Kiyotaka propaganda to convince someone to write a fanfic about them

like the first time his dreams go in that direction he's going to wake up freaked out about being deviant if he even understands what he's feeling at all

like i don't think it's a 'he wants to be the one making them cry' situation like i think it is with Celeste and to an extent Byakuya and it's more just wanting that closeness and for them to rely on him for comfort even though he sucks at giving it and knows it

Genre: Angst Romantic In which Chishiya realizes he is in love with the villain's younger sister. (In this oneshot, only he knows Mira is the Queen of Hearts)

"Y/N Kano"

Chishiya who wasn't even interested in the meeting, had looked up in utter shock; and he wasn't the only one. Did she really just hear that?

"Kano?" He asked, his folded arms moving to his pockets. Mira laughs sweetly, yet the sound is pain to his ears.

"Y/N Kano is my younger sister, everybody." She announced, taking the ropes off of Y/N's wrists letting her free.

He glanced at the younger possible spawn of the evil female. He doesn't know what he feels, but he feels his heart doing somersaults.

He knew who Mira Kano really was. She was one of the Face cards, the Queen of Hearts. He found out when he saw her with a Queen of Hearts card tattooed on back, and when he saw her tucking a Queen of Hearts card safely into a box in her drawer. From there, he had connected the dots. He knew the evil Mira was capable of, and he had all reason to doubt the younger Kano before him.

So why doesn't he feel remorse towards Y/N Kano?

Somehow he managed to become friends with her, he just wanted to be friends with herto see if she too was a face card like her sister.

Or maybe it was because he wanted to get closer to her.

Every time she was around he couldn't focus, everything was a blur to him. He could only focus on her voice, her eyes, her sweet smile and her carefree laugh. He felt his heart beat faster whenever you both had accidental skin contact, or when she offered him hugs.

He knew it was wrong to fall for someone with ties to the Queen of Hearts, but it felt right. Should he make her steal the face card from Mira, so all this could end quickly? Or should he just let it be? He didn't want to betray her, but he didn't want to stay in these games any longer.

She was his chance. So why was he scared of using her like he did to Arisu and Usagi?

"People are just merely there to come to your aid. Everybody dies or will die in the games, not everyone makes it out. Getting attached or falling in love is a waste of time." He remembers telling Kuina.

Yet here he was, unable to stay true to his own words.

He couldn't help it, he felt himself getting attached to Y/N Kano. He felt himself falling for her harder each day. He could feel his heart strings tug, his cheeks ever so warm every time she was near him.

While on the roof sitting, he glanced at his side. She had her head up and her eyes closed. The sunset rays hit her just right, and it was like she was glowing. He thought this cliché thing only happened in the movies; but here he was falling even harder.

He couldn't help but love her, even though he knew he wasn't supposed to. He tried to distance himself hoping the feeling would fade, but no matter what he always ended up right by her side.

He couldn't help but love her, and he knew he had a problem.

"The heart is such a strange organ." He suddenly spoke up and Y/N turns to him focusing all her attention on him, he did his best not to fold at her soft mesmerizing gaze.

"It pumps blood to the body and it's what keeps you alive. Then, the heart also causes so much pain. It makes you feel all your raw emotions. I never liked the heart." He stated, and she laughed softly.

"I disagree, the heart is a fascinating organ" She argued. "The heart is what makes you feel your emotions right? The heart is what is capable of causing you to love." She smiles softly. "Without the heart, you wouldn't feel or fall in love. I want my heart, because I know that it will teach me to love, and to fall in love."

Chishiya Shuntaro's heart beat faster at her words, and he looked away.

If only he could tell her how his heart ached for her how his heart longed for her presence. If only he could tell her how the organ that pumps blood into his veins is the very same one causing him to be capable of loving her.

It was ironic how she was the sister of the Queen of Hearts, because here he was fighting hard in his war of hearts.

He looked her way once more, only to see her already staring at him. The both of them didn't break eye contact, he felt his cheeks grow hot. He watched her smile softly, his eyes drifting to her lips and back to her eyes. "Maybe you're right.. the heart is a fascinating and mysterious organ." He muttered.

He'll let the heart win, this time.
