i dont talk a lot about the type of art i like to see so i thought i’d list some of my favorite sorts of art styles:
-rough, sketchy, texture heavy lines
-digital art that mimics traditional art (specifically crayon+colored pencil sort of stuff)
-watercolor, painterly
-high intricate detail, high anatomical skill
-muted, desaturated, natural colors
-grainy, papery textures
-wonky, experimental
-medieval and victorian styles
-super simple, thick lines
-vivid colors, stark lighting
-messy, blotchy, almost cloud-like? this one’s harder to pin down
-fave colors for art tend to be dark blues, whites+light grays (with some kind of color tint, i dont like straight grays), oranges, pink-tinted reds, and warm greens
Do you have any advice for drawings frubies?
There's a lot of ways to go about drawing them but I think probably the most vital part of a furby being recognized as a furby is becoming familiar with and playing with their facial features, I made a quick little comparison of like, how they “officially” look vs how I draw their faces in my anthro characters:
since they’re not real creatures so there’s not really like, a correct or incorrect way of drawing them but I think it’s mostly like getting familiar with the prominent circles and triangular shapes they have in their faces!
kinsonas / characters based on preexisting properties / whatever you'd like to call them are cool and everyone should make them
