Thoughts on villain Ching Lung, the villain we saw on the 1935 Detective Comics #1 and arc villain from what I can tell from the Kenan King New Superman?
Never read that original comic, but it’s to say the least ballsy as fuck bringing him back at all, much less in the context they did with him explicitly as “the beginning” conversing with a weird sideways successor/iteration of the idea that overrode his entire genre. While my enthusiasm for New Super-Man has waxed and waned at the best of times, I’m thoroughly fascinated to see what endgame Yang has in mind for him.
