It was fun today today talking about my trip to China with some of my friends at work. Since most people don't really visit China as their "prime vacation" spot, having any real experience in the country is rare. Yet, the people who do experience this first hand are dropped into a culture that is so extremely different than ours. Even though it was only a two week trip, I learned so much about a complete opposite culture. Amazingly all at the just the ripe old age of 16. The crazy part of all of it, I went by myself. My parent weren't with me. I went with just a conference, but I had to myself all the way there, and not fuck up by myself. I owe so much to my parents for giving me the chance to even experiences any of this. Without my parents I would never be able to do any of this, and I'm really grateful for that.
