Children’s Book Fair in Bologna! I visited it for the first time this year but definitely not the last ;). It is HUGE, INSPIRING, OVERWHELMING! If you are interested in children’s illustration it is definitely worth visiting to get the idea of what is happening in this area in general and also see the latest trends, feel the whole atmosphere, see the new books. Also, every year there is a contest for young illustrators (you’ll find information on Book Fair website), so if you are looking for a chance to be noticed - go for it! I’ll do my best to participate in the contest next year, too  :).
