5 little monkeys jumping on the bed. one fell off and bumped his head. He was rushed to the hospital but he was already gone before he reached the emergency room. The funeral was the following week where one of the little monkeys tried to hop on the coffin when it was lowered into the ground, pounding on the lid crying his eyes out. None of the other four monkeys  went near the bed for a very long time. But one night, the oldest monkey lit the bed on fire and ended up burning down the house, killing the youngest one. They never found his body. About 5 months later, the monkey who lit the bed on fire committed suicide by lighting himself on fire and jumping out the window of a 13 story hotel in Chicago after running away. The last two monkeys were left with very little money and had to work very hard to keep up with their monthly rent. And since they lived in Chicago, crime was rampant, and one of the little monkeys got involved in drugs and had to go to rehab, which was extremely expensive. The last monkey had to work three different jobs to pay it off, and slowly lost his sanity. By the time his brother was released from rehab, he had all but lost his mind, and had to be admitted to an asylum where he was electrocuted by faulty wiring during one of his electrotherapy sessions. The very last monkey had dealt with so much death that his soul became cold and he ruthlessly worked his way up to the top of the economical pyramid. He opened his own company and ended up making millions at the cost of others. And one day, at a very old age, he decided it was his time and he jumped of the top of his business headquarters, a skyscraper in New York, on New years eve, into a crowd of drunken spectators. These 5 monkeys lead tormented and sad lives, just because one stupid little monkey decided that it would be a good idea for them to jump on the bed.
