"Modern Women" a tribute to the 100 years of the Week 22 - by Duda Macieira In her tribute to the 100 years since the Week of Modern Art of 1922, 11-year-old Duda Macieira extracts from works by artists Emiliano Di Cavalcanti, Anita Malfatti, and Tarsila do Amaral, the fashion trends of that time. In her work, entitled "Modern Women", the artist takes by the hand some of the women who were the protagonists of these artists' memorable canvases and, in a new reading of each one of them, uses metalanguage to place them side by side in the year 2022. Thus, the young women of the artists of 22 cross the century and jump from their canvases directly to Duda's art, to fraternize and present their models in the following order: 01 - Emiliano Di Cavalcanti - "Cinco moças de Guaratinguetá", 1930; 02 - Di Cavalcanti / Nana Moraes - "Afresco de Di Cavalcanti", 1925; 03 - Anita Malfatti - "The student", 1915 - 1916; 04 - Tarsila do Amaral - "Blue Hat", 1922; 05 - Emiliano Di Cavalcanti - "Samba", 1925.
