      Childe had approached Louie with a glass of champagne in his hand; dapper as someone can be, he had been fluttering around the event making acquaintances of everybody and  —why not— getting some numbers for late night entertainment.

Childe called for her as he approached with fast steps; there was a little box in between his fingers carefully wrapped with a pastel blue ribbon decorating it. “Sorry about the delay, work got me busy the last days of the year, but... Happy Holidays!”   Ah, completely unaware of her situation, Tartaglia had not only approached her carelessly, but was now extending a present towards her; inside  ——if she were to receive it—— she would find a hair pin with the exact design of the flowers she used to adorn her hair with.   “I hope you like it, took me some time to find the right person who could make it just right”.

“Oi!”, he called for the other young man’s attention, “Let’s say I am about to end my enemy’s life after an exciting yet easy battle... what song or artist would you pick for the background music?”, he asked while looking at all the rows and piles of unknown artists. Childe had became quite a fan of this realm’s music and was actually hoping to find a way of taking some music back to his homeworld when the right moment arrived.

“Those little toys over there...”, Childe began while pointing at some DnD figurines, “...they seem to be part of a series or something, but don’t seem sturdy enough for a child to play with; are they part of some sort of collection?”, he asked with a little smile. “There’s a bunch of cool stuff around here, but surprisingly, I cannot make heads or tails of anything”, he chuckled.

“Sir!”   ———Tartaglia called while the classroom went empty of tired ( and quite miserable ) students. His cheerful demeanor clashed aggressively against the rather drained students that were taking the lecture. “I didn’t know you were so proficient in the topic of wars and fighting back in the day; if you don’t mind me asking, what did you study? One only gets so many years to be such an expert in so many topics”

                  “-----So, are we going to get something to eat? It’s on me”
