#child mode

Like I’ll talk like a child (high-pitched voice, poorer grammar or simpler sentence structure), act like a child (want tucked in, suck my thumb more, want things like my teddy). It often coincides with being non-verbal but I can be in childhood mode and perfectly verbal, or I can be non-verbal while perfectly adult. I can stall it happening but once it’s actually started I have very little control over it.

I’ve tried googling it but I’ve only found parenting books, sexual fetishes (which it most definitely isn’t for me), or information about DID, which was the closest thing to describing what I meant but I don’t have that.
