Whew. Spent the afternoon and early evening building a feed chute for Mom’s chickens. At first it wasn’t steep enough, so the feed just...sat there in the chute. After a quick adjustment, it worked, but Mom could only reach it if she stood on a step-stool. No way that was safe, so I ended up making a dirt step that was high enough for her to reach the chute. I think it’s going to work out. Now *my* back hurts...haha. At least I got 13 eggs today.
