they're just both such bare bones characters that i generalized my opinion to both

The leader of the cult Validar, is a blatant Anti Arab/Iranian stereotype, looking like a more stereotypical Jafar with exaggerated MENA features and he is the only brown person in the entire game. He's also the father of the player character Robin, but this isn't to humanize him in any way and Robin is white as hell.

While the other cult members are all white just like everyone else in the country, they wear exaggerated orientalized "Ancient Egypt outfits". And again, they're all ugly pure evil old men, thugs

Everyone in Validar's cult is completely evil with no one having any sort of humanizing or any kind of reasonable motivation, they just want to summon a dragon that will kill everyone and the story takes the stance they need to be wiped out to the last.

But wait, there's one scantily clad girl with slightly tan skin that says she knows Validar and his cult were evil, but they were the only family she had....and than than its immediately revealed she only said that because she was under magical mind control.

The scary middle eastern men had kidnapped and enslaved her after killing her family, than forced her to seduce men for them. The white heroes, are, of course, outraged by this and vow to wipe out the evil cult with further confirmation that no one could care for that evil brown bastard.

And material for the game also shows the girl was lighter skinned before the scary arab bastard did this to her. Oh and the rest of her screentime is acting subservient to the male Robin like a good waifu.

Its like Ganondorf but 50 times worse, because Ganondorf is at least a charismatic villain whom doesn't have a white son and isn't shown to enslave women.

Oh and non Arab or Iranian fans constantly say this isn’t racist and “No no Validar is designed to be attractive which is why the official 4komas have the heroes say Robin must be adopted because he isn’t ugly like Validar is”.

which i guess you can argue as a stylistic choice? but that's argument goes completely out the window when you see the remake

idk i find big/interesting noses so cool and hot and it breaks my heart every time i see one of those nose job videos because (kinda weird but) someone's nose is one of the first things i noticed about them, it's leftover from my days of studying peoples faces because i was sick of drawing the same ass nose
