I’ve been on a visible mending kick so when the thumbs of my favorite gloves fell apart I knew what I had to do! I bought these at Platform 9 3/4 in London last year so throwing them away was NOT an option. Instead, I pulled out my sock knitting needles and picked up a row low enough on the thumb to be structurally sound. Then I frogged back (unknitted) to my needles and just re-knit back up. I even added access slits for texting! Better than new!
