Mended corner of back pocket on my favorite jeans. They’ve since been through many many mends
More Sock Mending!!!
Seems like my socks develop holes almost as fast as I can darn them now. It's hard to complain when they end up looking so neat after being mended. All the mends pictured are done using the Scotch Darning method which is still my favourite way to darn.

I mended these gloves! The thumb, index, & middle fingers of each had broken open at the end. I was fine with this as it made it easier to use touch screens, but I wasn't fine with the knitting unraveling, so I had to figure out how to darn them while keeping the end open. I ended up using a "king size" sharpie for the fingers & an empty mini M&M's tube for the thumbs as a makeshift darning egg to hold the specific shape I wanted. I then scotch darned the whole way round each finger joining the darn to itself on the ends. It was a little tricky with the first finger, but after that I got the hang of it, and I'm really happy with how they turned out (pictured below along with a couple pictures of the process).
I wish I had taken a few more pictures of the process. Hopefully I'll remember to do so when one of the ring or pinkie fingers inevitably breaks open as well. Happy Mending!
