EC-Council - Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) is one of the well-known security certification, which I just attended. And their courseware is in proprietary PDF format called PDC protected by a DRM tool named Locklizard Safeguard PDF Security.
Hence to open their courseware, you will be required to install the Locklizard Safeguard Secure PDF Viewers and activate the license key assigned to you, which can only be used for two times activation. And you cannot print or screenshot those courseware.
Hence, it is a challenge when you want to browse through their courseware in your pc, laptop, tablet or mobile. Would be good if somebody has converted it to PDF version just like the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) v9 courseware.
Unfortunately, I can only find CHFI v8 courseware and seem like nobody has converted CHFI v9 courseware into PDF. Thus, google around on for the way to convert it to PDF but failed to find any workable solution.
Therefore spending 2 days and burning midnight oil for finding way to convert it while watching Liverpool VS AS Roma champion league match. After numerous failed attempts, finally figured out how to convert it with 100% success rate. And sharing this since believe that it will be useful for many as well.
