I'm having a very low energy and a low mood combination where I just... don't want to do anything? What things help make you happier? I made myself an actual post that lists all the things that make me happy, and I reblog it with new stuff on occasion, but I want something different. I normally go for stims or woodturning by Tim, but what's your thing?
@chevko Damn, I’m sorry you’re going through this, too. Honestly, a lot of my former go-tos are now cut off for me, though, because of the nerve damage (guitar, intense martial arts workouts, etc.).
But if nothing else, putting on music and singing along at the top of my lungs while pretending I’m back up on stage in front of a club full of appreciative fans again helps (among the many careers I’ve been a total failure at, “rock singer” was one I wasn’t quite as bad at). Maybe that last one could work for you, too?
Thanks for reminding me of that, too. I was sitting here thinking “nothing’s gonna help,” but you asking gave me greater incentive to think about things that actually help, which in turn reminded me of something I COULD do to feel better.
So yeah. Thanks for the reminder, and although your mileage may vary, maybe you can try it and see if it helps you, as well?

I sent in an Ask sometime earlier about #pen sensitivity and got it figured out! One to add to the troubleshooting: Uninstall ALL drivers you have for tablets, restart, reinstall. This works if you have, in my case, a Monoprice tablet and an Adesso installed. Uninstalled the Monoprice, the Adesso, restarted, reinstalled only the Adesso, restarted one more time, and now it's working! \o/

Dude. Have you tried coloring white people digitally? It's a pain in the ass. Too red, too brown, too green, too blue... At least with paints a white person can apply it to their skin if they're in doubt. DIGITALLY YOU ONLY SEE IT AFTER YOU UPLOAD IT AND YOU'RE LIKE WTFFF. White people are bullshit when drawing. And that’s AFTER the million and a half parts are done. People just suck is the moral of this rant :| … DRAWING people suck, for those that may be squinting at home. (because I have to clarify :| )
I specifically try to avoid this task where possible. Pale skin = translucent skin = lots of undertones = no, no, i will not, i will not do this. i will not.

They literally could in the original eight movies/books by just explaining the wizarding world as being eccentric and muggles being generally unobservant.
Like the costume design was bad because couldn’t discern which characters were wizards and which were muggles at a moment’s glance. Like, that weird tangent with the senator guy? I thought they were also supposed to be wizards too because literally nothing about the costume design communicated to be the contrary. Like in the HP, you could pretty reliably distinguish characters just by looking at them and that’s kind of important. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
