when  CHESTER FAULT’s  six feet in the ground, she’s gotta resist the urge to dig up big daddy and kill him again. her brother got that goddamn hole in the wall, and she was stuck with cody fuckin’ charpentier. she’s hated him ever since she’d heard that godawful and out-of-tune rendition of  TAKE MY HAND  in her childhood living room.  she’s  never  had  her  daddy’s  patience.  cody had been chester’s slowest accordion student, but he somehow favored the boy in almost equal footing of his only daughter. sticking ‘em together for various zydeco festivals through the years, before she moved on to bigger and better things. daddy was so proud when she signed her first artist, and then another and another  ..  but she’d never expected his dying wish would be to manage cody fuckin' charpentier’s stupid career.
