A little something that i wrote a while ago and thought it was cool enough to share.
Barry Allen Pawn; unafraid to sacrifice himself or his speed if it's to save someone, much like a pawn would do for the pieces in the back row. When he runs into a figurative wall, though he tries to figure out a way, he has a tendency to rely heavily on others to help him along – working by himself proves to be difficult though. He is the first one who runs into danger and is always backed up by his friends, unless – of course – he decides to go rogue and head right for the end (of the board).
Caitlin Snow Rook; as a rook can only move in a straight path, Caitlin tends to relates things to what she previously knows to be true. She is methodical, straight to the point, and is quite good at assisting the other pieces with plans and/or giving them the support they need – like a rook backing up a pawn as it advancing towards to end.
Cisco Ramon Bishop; can sneak in between two pieces if a diagonal line allows him. Cisco has a knack for thinking through situations in a different light or making things work if he just approached the problem from a different angle; different from most everyone else. However, while amazing in his range or in his reach, well... bishops can only stick to their one colour.
Eobard Thawne/Harrison Wells Queen; most unpredictable piece on the board as it can move anywhere. Wells has always had unclear motives throughout the series and everybody – both ally and opponent alike – watches him (or the Queen) carefully. Yet, there is a limit to his movements: Such as the queen always falls back to protect the king, Harry always changes tactics/plans to protect or save his daughter and, though admitted reluctantly, the other members of the team as well.
Joe West Knight; possesses forward momentum and skill; Joe is good in many areas but will always be there as someone sturdy to lean on. He can be surprisingly good in planning, though executing them is more his strength.
Iris West King; is mainly concerned with what impacts their opinions or their trusted directly. Iris always reacts to threats or events with the thought of how it may impact her or her friends/family; for instance, when Barry was intent on heading off to Earth-2 or when he decided to get his speed back or even when she signed up to go into police work and Joe didn't let her – every time, Iris was concerned with how it might affect her, or if she was the one that influenced his choice. To sum, Iris always has a reaction to what goes on right there, in front of her, in her life.
Action poses...how do them? Haha
testing out selma's color scheme. It's hard not putting in bright colors...
