I'm back from Chess camp! And as usual, I have pretty much lost my voice. This happens EVERY single time I go for a camp. My voice decides to be a slut and goes off to sleep with someone else for about a week before she comes crawling back and I love her too much to push her away. 

Anyway, Chess camp woot woot! It was good! :D BEST HOUSE BABY, BEST. HOUSE. When Grace announced that Ravenclaw had won best house, I was totally stunned because WTF WE ARE SUCH A NUA AND SLACK HOUSE! Even the other houses also tio stun. Last year I was so hardcore also never win best house, this year I told my freshies to chillax, take their time, don't care, just cheat during games and don't need so hardcore AND WE WON. Lesson learned indeed. Perhaps my threatening of games masters with my extra long "wand" (Actually, it's just a random stick I stole from my mama.) and demanding extra bonus points worked. :D Hurhur. 

There's something about Chem Engineers that I really really really like. I suan and get suaned by people I barely know and it's okay. We just all laugh it off and this kind of camaraderie is really quite something. I felt extraordinarily proud wearing this year's camp shirt, with a huge ass CHEMICAL ENGINEER in the front (Designed by our own prof Saif Khan. He is so cool and was the only awesome thing about IT1005. To be honest, a lot of my profs are amazing people, I will discuss this another day.) And I super love how I didn't need a single formal introduction but I just some figured out everybody's names and everyone's just so nice and friendly right from the beginning. :) 

My lovely OGLs and the crasher OGLs seriously were amazing. Lex and Ver have always been wonderful and I'm incredibly thankful to Lex for coming down and helping me rah-rah my freshies even though he really didn't have to but the rest of them too, Zhiyang, Jiashen, Jiamei, Hanyu and Samsam, SO. AMAZING. I'm really thankful I got such a wonderful group of OGLs to help me this camp. Huiyi, Yewei and Minghuang too but they followed the other OG. I LOVE YOU GUYS SUPER A LOT. Even Hanyu and Samsam who are so fucking full of shit. :D 

This year's Chess camp really brought back a lot of memories from last year's Chess camp and the previous one before that where I was still a freshie, not knowing a clue what the hell Uni camps were like. Things have changed SO much since then. SO SO SO SO much. I met Kublai and they are one of the brightest sparks in my uni life. I met so many awesome and wonderful people, I met Daryl and what I have with him is more than just amazing, I laughed till my head hurt, I swore like a sailor, I didn't care how unglam or how unlady-like I was, I had so much fun.

It's times like this that I just feel very blessed and thankful. :)
