    She pulled the material on and pushed herarms through their respective holes, watchingin the mirror as the shirt fell over her body. Tinyhands tugged the end down until it wouldn’t godown any further. Seeing that the shirt was onlya inch or two longer than her own shirt would be,her lips pulled into a smirk. “Hmm… I think I will.”    She turned back to face Cheryl with a half-heartedshrug. “So, whatcha think?” The smirk turned into aplayful smile and her hands came to a rest on herhips, causing the shirt to rise just a bit more.

     he shoots her an incredulous look. he wasn’t much about the omens either, usually he would say they were a bunch of bull but something about this one felt… wrong. it felt like it could be true. “ i don’t care much for how the musical goes honestly. “ but betty was involved in it ( alongside archie and veronica of course ) and he felt as though he couldn’t take any risks. the boy wouldn’t live it down if anything happened to her ( the three of them ). the musical he was only invested in for them and for the behind the scenes he was directing but past that he didn’t give a damn how it went off. “ but maybe we should warn kevin, just in case it isn’t perfect. “ he hates to say the words out loud but perhaps there should be precautions put into place. after the sand bag, the letter, the threats to cheryl… anything was possible. this omen didn’t help any. “ if you were able to be up there, i’m sure you’d want someone keeping an eye out. “

     “ look, “ he started, putting his hand out sternly, an explanation in the works. “ the first time i hardly even lost them, alright? it just ended up in the bag from pop’s. “ he didn’t really want to talk about the second time he lost the keys, that had been a mess and a half. the third time, however, had been just earlier in the day when he was with the blonde northsider. “ i probably just left them with betty by accident, i can get them back next time i see her. so don’t worry too much, i’ll get them back. “ which shouldn’t be that long, they were going to be seeing each other within the next day or so anyway. he would never understand why she had given him a set of keys to thistlehouse anyway. chances were it had been a show of good faith, her pure intentions toward the serpents. while she could have given them to someone better, jughead was the serpent king and she had been left with no choice. sometimes he felt bad for her, rarely that it was.
