First, what fandoms are you part of and how long have you been a part of them?

One Direction Fandom for maybe 5 or 6 months, Cher Llyod Fandom for around 3 months, Ed Sheeran Fandom for around 2 months, Demi Lovato Fandon for about a year, Justin Bieber fandom for 3 years and a couple more.

Did it change your life like some fans claim it changed theirs? What impact did it have on your everyday life? 

Deep question up there, mate. They all impacted me in different ways. For Example Justin Bieber taught me to follow my dreams, Demi Lovato taught me it’s okay not to be super skinny.

What are the ups and the downs of being part of the fandom? What are the positive and the negative impacts it has on your life?

There really was no down side of being apart of any fandom! I got to ‘meet’ so many amazing people! There are no negatives, However when I was in the 7th grade I got made fun of quiet allot because I liked Justin Bieber. The positives? Each one taught me it’s okay to be myself.

Are there ever any fights or drama? 

Er, Sometimes…. Most of the times….. okay fine, all of the time. 

Are you more involved with people of your fandom in real life or online? If online, which social network?

Have you ever been afraid of letting people know that you’re part of a fandom because you were scared of being laughed at? 

Sadly, Yes. Along time ago, but not now. The bullying I gotten in 7th grade basically made me turn away from putting my interest out in the open.

Do you agree with the statement ” My fandom is my family ” ? Why? 

Yes! Because in a family you help each other, you’re there for each other, you do not judge one another and all of the fandoms I’m apart of are just like that.

Passion, obsession, dedication. Which one of these 3 words do you think describes the best how you feel about your favorite artist? 

Ahh, All three but mostly dedication! 

Do you think you will stay in the fandom forever? 

I hope so! I honestly love all of the people in my fandom and I love being a fan of said person!

I am a part of many fandoms, I am a Brat (1 year), Directioner (1 year), Little Mixer (uhm a few months), Smiler (many years), Sheeranator (1 year), & I’m a Olly Murs fan (almost a year),  Jonatic (many, many years)

Did it change your life like some fans claim it changed theirs? What impact did it have on your everyday life? 

Oh my gosh, yes being a part of these fandoms have made more outgoing, but also a bit more shy. I get to express my feelings to my fellow friends online. There are so many reasons why I love being a part of them, although some fans can be a bit too much & make me uncomfortable but all in all I’m here to support the person.  I am more confident because these amazing people that I support have taught me so much, but I am a bit less social with friends & I get distracted in class…

What are the ups and the downs of being part of the fandom? What are the positive and the negative impacts it has on your life?

Positives- I get to meet amazing new people, and make lovely new friends!  Negatives- I do get made fun of for being a bit too “obsessed” especially with Cher Lloyd & One Direction… it’s hard being in fandoms like One Direction because some are SO hardcore & rude nowadays so I’m actually scared to share my opinions on thins to be honest….

Are there ever any fights or drama? 

There is drama but only in the Directioner fandom, for some reason we’re all so crazed over the boys! But all in all I love this fandom & One Direction are the most amazing 5 boys ever. I’m here to support them not make drama or cause any hate or worry about it. 

Are you more involved with people of your fandom in real life or online? If online, which social network? 

Definitely online, cos they just seem to get me more than real life friends, if that makes sense? It used to be twitter, but it all became about how many followers you had & it wasn’t as fun, so tumblr!

Have you ever been afraid of letting people know that you’re part of a fandom because you were scared of being laughed at? 

YES. OMG YES. Although at school everyone knows me as the 1D obsessed, british loving freak :/ I am so scared that school friends may find my accounts…

Do you agree with the statement ” My fandom is my family ” ? Why? 

Of course, I treat my fellow brats, directioners, mixers, ect. like family. I’m here for them 100% as they are for me! <3

Dedicated for sure! I’d like to say obsessed but I’m definitely dedicated to these amazing artists/bands.

Do you think you will stay in the fandom forever? 

To be honest I will ALWAYS be a part of them but not AS obsessed or like always stalking them… I will grow up & prioritize my life, but for now I’m a total fangirl 24/7, I will always fangirl. That’s who I am. <3
