Gemini Monsters could be seen as some of the most supported group of monsters in the card game. Starting as Normal Monsters they'll gain most of the tools the original type works with, to later on unlock their disabled effects yet with powerful uses to lead the board with. A good example of this are Chemicritters, a tiny archetype consisting of monsters supporting themselves and other Gemini Monsters with their abilities. Due their lack of options Chemicritters might not stand out on a Deck of their own, but combining forces with other Gemini Monsters is quite easy to achieve all sorts of setups and outcomes despite the delayed effect of these creatures.

"Vola-Chemicritter Methydraco" is the lead monster of the Chemicritters, with an array of abilities not only supporting the archetype but any other Gemini Monsters we can fit in our Deck. Just by its own Xyz Summon in return we can revive a Gemini Monster from our Graveyard, already creating a powerful field advantage for all sorts of objectives to work on. As long "Methydraco" carries materials all Gemini Monsters of ours will become protected from any attacks as well targetting effects, clearly limiting their options towards this Xyz Monster making any threats easy to predict. Finally, we can spend such materials in response of a Gemini Monster being Normal Summoned (Regardless of player), allowing us to force the opponent to get rid of a card in our field or hand (their choice). Overall, "Methydraco" provides a massive array of benefits that ranges from powerful board pressence to disrupting the opponent's options, and with the rest of support not only arround Chemicritters but Gemini Monsters in general it easily becomes a monster to be afraid of.

Although a Rank 8 Monster requiring Gemini materials, "Methydraco" is quite easy to summon due the nature of the monsters that is asking for. From the archetype we obtain the Trap Card "Burnout" that allows us to summon members directly from the Deck, quickly preparing the Xyz Summon by gathering members such as "Poly-Chemicritter Hydragon" and "Poly-Chemicritter Dioxogre" right from early game. Otherwise, "Chemicritter Oxy Ox" not only gives us a Special Summon but also the chance change the Level of all our Gemini Monsters into Level 8 to work together as materials immediately. Level 8 monsters in our hand won't be any other problem, as either "Catalyst Field" summons them without need of tributes (As well an additional Normal Summon) or are disposed by a card like "Trade-In" to be revived afterwards. Speaking for Graveyard, with a massive number of revival options such as "Swing of Memories" and "Chemicritter Hydron Hawk" we will have a solid number of materials always ready to come to the field and quickly Xyz Summon during any circumstances. Don't forget that "Methydraco" itself can also revive potential materials upon arrival, so if we have a Link Monster to provide additional zones is possible to Xyz Summon a new copy right away.

"Methydraco" might not be a Gemini Monster, yet quickly becomes a key card no matter if is working along its archetype or other creatures from said group. Right from its own arrival we can revive all sorts of Gemini Monsters to accompany its pressence, ranging from archetype members like "Poly-Chemicritter Dioxogre" to other Gemini Monsters we can fit in the build such as "Phoenix Gearfried" and "Darkstorm Dragon". Since the Xyz Summon of "Methydraco" doesn't require Gemini Monsters with effects we can save our Normal Summon for the revived target, as otherwise we can easily follow with "Supervise" not only unlocking its abilities but also becoming a revival effect once leaves the field. The protective effects of "Methydraco" will undoubtly become troublesome in a theme which might slow down to unlock effects, keeping all our Gemini Monsters safe from common dangers and stronger enemies as they safely prepare their setups and abilities. Finally there's its removal effect, which although might have a single use to keep its protection active it has plenty of chances to be activated each turn we Normal Summon by the default way or by effects like the mentioned "Catalyst Field". Don't forget that the removal effect can also be triggered when spending a Normal Summon to obtain a Gemini Monster's effect, as well being able to be used against the opponent's own Gemini Monsters' summon.

"Vola-Chemicritter Methydraco" obviously leads not only its own archetype but also any other Gemini Monster that can be under its pressence. As soon is Xyz Summoned we can revive a powerful Gemini Monster to either work on setups or be protected by the effects of "Methydraco" to stay on the lead, and while on the field all our Gemini Monsters will be safe of targetting effects as well "Methydraco" virtually shutting down the opponent's Battle Phase. Its removal effect might have scarce uses due its other effects' reliance on materials as well being up to the opponent which card to get rid of, but that potential single use can still become devastating to get rid of either dangerous cards on the field or reduce the opponent's hand. Obviously, due "Methydraco" not benefitting of its own effects yet becoming the main engine of the board as long is summoned it will become the top priority to be taken down by one of many options, so try to have some basic countermeasures to not have all its benefits go to waste. Overall, no matter if is in a pure Chemicritter Deck or along any other Gemini Monsters we can work with, is hard to ignore the several benefits this Xyz Monster will provide us right from its own Xyz Summon.

Just because a theme or archetype is small doesn't mean they are out of options. Chemicritter monsters are a great example of this, as despite their small numbers they take full advantage of their status as Gemini Monsters. Combining their own effects along with both Gemini and Normal Monster support, Chemicritters have more than enough resources to manage their goals from early to late game. Don't underestimate them due their low stats or slow effects, as Chemicritters can easily pull out consecutive summons with ease.

"Chemicritter Hydron Hawk" becomes one of the most valuable members if we manage to obtain its effect. As a Gemini, "Hydron Hawk" is treated as a Normal Monster in the field and Graveyard until we spend our Normal Summon to obtain its effect. Once that happens, "Hydron Hawk" will let us discard a card to revive any Gemini Monster in our Graveyard on Defense Position. Although this might not give us a lead offensively, "Hydron Hawk" remains a valuable Chemicritter to either ease unlocking Gemini effects and/or setup some of their bigger summons.

"Hydron Hawk" has a big variety of methods to arrive on the field from early to late game thanks to its position in the archetype as well as a Gemini Monster. "Chemicritter Carbo Crab" is the man searcher of the build, but since to do so must dump a Gemini from the Deck to the Graveyard we can instead send "Hydron Hawk" to be revived afterwards. "Burnout" instead banishes a Chemicritter to allow us summon "Hydron Hawk" along another member from the Deck, with also the opportunity to summon any banished Gemini with its effect available. If "Hydron Hawk" is in our hand, "Chemicritter Oxy Ox" can Special Summon it from our hand as well making Geminis share its Level in case we wanna prepare certain Extra Deck summons. But while there are more than enough options in early game Chemicritters gets the best from Graveyard support, not only because "Hydron Hawk" revival effect targetting copies of itself but also a big arsenal of Special Summon effects such as "Supervise" and "Swing of Memories" easily summoning it along the rest of Chemicritters. Because so, is easy to work along milling effects such as "Foolish Burial" or "Brilliant Fusion" to revive "Hydron Hawk" and other Gemini Monsters and possibly Normal Summon their effects.

With a revival effect of its own, "Hydron Hawk" is as important as the rest of Graveyard options Chemicritters and other Geminis will rely on. First of all we might need to unlock this ability, easily done by cards like "Supervise" or once is revived by one of many effects. Once achieved "Hydron Hawk" has no restrictions whatsoever about what Geminis can summon, going from important Chemicritters such as "Poly-Chemicritter Dioxogre" or Geminis not belonging to the archetype like "Darkstorm Dragon" and "Phoenix Gearfried". A monster revived by "Hydron Hawk"" might come on Defense Position, but that won't stop us to setup big summons with them like their boss monster "Vola-Chemicritter Methydraco" by combining other Special Summons, or using "Hydron Hawk" itself along other monster for a summon such as "Sky Cavalry Centaurea". Keep on mind that, as long we have other Gemini Monsters in the Graveyard, we can revive the Gemini we could discard to activate "Hydron Hawk" ability.

Geminis already have an immense number of summoning tools to compensate their slow effects, and "Chemicritter Hydron Hawk" simply adds futher options to them. "Hydron Hawk" and almost the rest of Chemicritters' effects aren't exclusive to the archetype, allowing the build to mix any Geminis we want to work along this ability and the rest. Although "Hydron Hawk" summons its targets in Defense Position, is still a wonderful opportunity to either unlock their effects and/or setup bigger summons with. Like any Gemini, "Hydron Hawk" will rely on other summoning effects so doesn't take too long to acheive its effect, but as soon the build starts gaining momentum with their arsenal of Graveyard resources it will be hard to be broken.
