I still haven't played the games or watched a walkthrough so I'm still going in partially blind (I do know a few things, including a big spoiler which I'm fine with knowing). Have you played or know the whole story??

I'm totally excited too!!! I know I'm going to be ruined by him for sure. From the little I've seen just from the trailers and tv spots we've been given, I love him lol. I know he's grumpy at first, for his own good reasons, but it's also clear he warms up to Ellie at some point, but even when he's grumpy at first, he's protecting her regardless which is just !!!!

Thirst wise, Pedro is looking reeeeeeally good as Joel. His outfits are perfect for a rugged, grumpy man of my dreams. And his hair, even with the added greys is sooo damn hot!! The soft waves and that stubble/almost beard, yesssss. Plus, he's going to be manhandling guns and apparently beating people up, so I'm front and center for this smoke show.

Steve’s voice is the first thing you hear after waking up.

“what?”

You mumble still a bit confused as you sit up on the big bed.

“happy birthday!”

He repeats with a big smile, sitting down on the edge of the bed, his hair still a bit messy from the night, his eyes fixed on yours, his pretty smile decorating his face.

“22, bloody hell lobe look at you go! you’re gonna catch up with me soon.”

You chuckle softly at him.

“Dont think that’s how it works, love.”

You’re quick to point out as your rub your eyes but steven only shrugs.

“Who cares how it works my love, what’s important is that today is all about you, yeah?”

He asks, moving closer as he pulls you in for a kiss. Closing your eyes you let his lips lead you, only tilting your head to the side slightly to deepen the kiss when you feel his hand on the back. His tongue on yours only for a second before he pulls away quickly.

“OH! Presents!”

He jumps off the bed excited and you whine quietly, already missing the feeling of him on your lips.

“We’re gonna make sure today is wonderful, yeah?”

You smile watching his run around the flat picking up different gift bags and things wrapped in colorful wrapping paper.

“We made plans, Marc and I, the whole day planned out just for you! Half the day with me, the second half with Marc. Oh this is so exciting innit? We’re gonna take you out, a proper birthday date and and we’ll…Marc has some plans for…later.”

He stops for a second, looking you up and down with a small smirk.

“I think you’ll like what he planned for you…it’s just…it’s a bit more…erotic.”

He mumbles and chuckles at the way your eyes go wide at his words. He runs to your side of the bed quickly, cupping your face in his hands before pressing another kiss to your lips and then your forehead.

“You didn’t have to, both of you.”

You whisper quietly, feeling yourself melt into his touch. It takes a moment but you know what’s happening you can tell now, after being with them for a while, you notice the switches.

“Oh we did.”

Marc speaks after a moment, that god damn smirk on his face before his lips crash with yours.”

“We did baby, you deserve it, deserve a perfect birthday. Perfect birthday for our perfect baby boy.”

I don't feel like I can really make a proper decision until we know him better? But Steven oh Steven Grant from the moment we met him I was head over heels in love with that man and every little thing about him. He's perfect he's so so perfect and god I love him, I love him so much I love his curls and his shirts (that I'd steal we know I like my shirts too), I love his pretty face, I love how funny he is, I love his excitement for things he's passionate about, I love his kindness and his friendliness, I love his strength and resilience. The list could go on and on and on. I just love him with every fibre of my being I love him so much. And I love the fact we are both so similar as we've discussed before you know? I feel like we'd slot together like two puzzle pieces. Everything would flow so naturally we are so so similar. I see so much of me in him I AAAA
