Good Olâ Days

Slick lowers his phone, cracked and outdated. Finally, after the chilling emptiness of this barren wasteland he can see a familliar face. It almost hurts, in a way. Will he look the same as his old deuce? Well they certainly sound the same. Itâs comforting.Â
Translocator working, heâs relocated to yet another universe. All similar in their own right. It has been...a while since he was allowed to do this. His old situation prohibiting him from leaving his city. Where would the little guy be anyway. Would he have run off to get distracted with one of his inventions? Hats? Wherever he was, Slick pulls his phone back out to text; âHere, goinâ to the nearest pub I can find. Somewhere south. Iâll drop thâ location.âÂ
That he did, and right where heâd expect a bar to be in his own city, it was in this one. With a confidence in comfort Slick walks in to order a drink at the bar, sitting and waiting for the little reunion to commence.Â
