19. Is there something you always find yourself repeating in your writing? (favourite verb, something you describe ‘too often’, trope you can’t get enough of?)

I have to say, I love this question, because I keep noticing some of these things in my writing and it's been driving me mad. 😂 At the risk of driving readers mad, too, here are some of them: at least once in nearly every fic, either Bond or Q calls the other 'cheeky'; I have described Q (or something he does) as "generous" like a LOT; and my characters are forever scrubbing a hand over their faces and/or swallowing as a way to convey Some Big Emotion They Are Not Ready to Share. Also, one last thing I do but am probably not going to change because now I am Attached To It, darn it: the first time Q calls Bond "James" in any given fic is usually a moment of some significance, and I use the name as my own moment of transition. I cannot help myself. 😁
