Had a blast at the zoo today! We got to meet with avian keepers, look at their breeding facilities and holding areas, and take a closer look at enclosures. They also had a fabulous collection of herps among some unique mammal species. Most of the better photos are on our digital cameras, but here are some cell phone shots for you.
For dinner we had some amazingly delicious barbecue with our awesome hosts. After food we relaxed with a movie, homemade cheesecake, and great conversation. Doesn't get much better than that!
