@cheapboooze​ says: Husk made certain no one was around when he snuck into the Princess's room and left a bouquet of random flowers and a simple card that read 'After the rain comes the rainbow.' He quickly made his escape before she or anyone else got back. No one needed to know HE left it there, he simply felt like the princess could some sort of inspiring words.

 The princess awoke that morning just a bright and cheery as she did any other. Ready to start a new day and really make a difference! Excitement had already seeped into her skin, causing it to practically glow. All of yesterdays woes were tossed aside to never be thought about. It wasn’t productive to sulk in negative emotions! It wasn’t what people needed from her!

 So, when she swung her body out of bed, the princess had not been expecting to see assorted flowers at her beside table. She was dumbfounded for a moment, letting black eyes absorb information slowly. She blinked, finally, allowing a pale hand to extend and take the bouquet and card. There was a slight shake to her fingers as she opened it nervously, expecting a prank or some kind of weird magic to be hidden inside. 

No. That was not at all the case.

 Kind words stabbed her in the heart, painful but gratifying. She began to wipe away tears that carelessly fell from her eyes. Encouragement was so rare - Charlie had to carry most of the weight of belief to keep herself going. She had to tell herself to look out for the beautiful rainbows and trust that everything would turn up roses.

 Now roses sat in her lap, saying yes! it is okay! you’re not alone!

 With slippers absent from her feet, Charlie rushed to the hotel lobby, where many were in the process of starting their day. Snot dripped from her nose and tears stained her face but the princess felt no shame in showing such emotion. She must have looked as sweet as sugar, standing in her nightgown and sobbing over a card. There was no helping her reaction for Charlie had needed to hear those words. “To whoever left me this-” A hiccup escaped her lips as she raised the card up with both hands, still shaking slightly. “Thank you so much!” From there, she broke down completely yet happily and began to retreat back to her room.

Molly can’t help but laugh at his outburst, moving to sit herself down at the bar as she set apart the glasses and grabbed the bottle. “Well if you’se wanna go hearin’ some mushy shit I can certainly rattle somethin’ on~” Molly teased before popping the cork.
