Cat or dog person: Dogs typically, but as I slowly put myself in situations where there are cats to desensitize my cat allergy, I find myself falling in love with them more.

Favorite fictional characters: Doug Eiffel, Hera, Alana Maxwell, Mod from The Message, Nightshade in Rover Red, Everyone save Damien and the AM in The Bright Sessions, man I could keep going and I’m only in podcasts.

What made you decide to make a tumblr: after a movie marathon of all the Harry Potter movies, my close friend showed me this website where people made really sad but cool posts about Harry Potter and made me an account basically while I was at her house and well here we are

6 - What is your favorite song as of the moment?

Ummm I really like Drunks by JohnnySWIM because it has such a cool story behind it? Like it’s just really precious and they came and performed at my school recently and I helped yell that song out and they played it and it made me really happy. So it’s one of my favorites, definitely the first that came to my mind.

27 - Who was the last person you hugged? 

Realistically probably @the44thpilot or @theoriginalbluetranscending ? Either them or one of my classmates I’m really close too. She has a habit of coming up after class and checking in with me and is super sweet!

28 - What kind of music do you listen to?

I listen to just about everything? My favorite is old school rock, heavy rock, screamo, folk. And then almost everything Brooke plays in the car when we are going somewhere is really nice music. She has great taste in music!!

57 - Have you ever done something bad but you don’t regret?

“Hello, Ms. Chazlyn.  Why don’t you take a seat here?” Hishikura asked, as he led her to a sofa, with a table in front of it, with some snacking chocolate and water, “Your welcome to eat some of this, if you’d like.” Samejima was also in that area, waving to you.  As you explained your problem, it greatly worried the both of them.  That word shouldn’t be used at all.

“I’m going to be honest with you, that word is bad, and you should never say it again, do you understand me?  If you say it in front of a person of that race, it will offend them.” Hishi said sternly.  

Samejima stayed quiet, thinking through his answer before speaking. “I agree with what Hishikura said, Chazlyn.  Even people of African descent saying it to each other is wrong and offensive to their ancestors, especially if they were enslaved.”

“Just because your friends say it too, doesn’t mean that you have to say it as well.  I know it is very common around middle school to high school age to say this word because of the music you listen to or the people you hang around.  It has nothing to do on if you're African American or not, you shouldn’t be saying that word even if you were African American, like Samejima said.  It’s totally okay to listen to that music, as long as you don’t repeat that word from there.  If you are paying attention to what your friends are saying, simply ignore it.  It’s not a good word to say, as I repeat it once more for the umpteenth time.”  Hishikura stated.  

“What if someone decided it was cool to call their Asian friends “Chink”, or “Jap”? “ Samejima said emotionlessly. “I bet you wouldn’t like it, nor would anyone in earshot.  And yes, you would be seen as a terrible person.  Soryu would discipline any of the Ice Dragons for far less than this.  Disrespect is not tolerated. And for this society to decide it’s okay for one to be used in popular culture doesn’t make it right.  Consider also Hitler and the Nazis.  What the soldiers there thought they were doing right when they definitely weren’t.”

“Samejima is correct.  I hold respect to Soryu out of all the bidders because he knows how to compose himself and control himself.  He knows what’s right and he will tell someone if they are doing something wrong.  So, if people you know are saying it please tell them it is wrong to say that word.  If they don’t listen, well, consequences will come their way.  What if a African American teacher heard that?  They would be in deep trouble, that’s for sure.  Don’t say it, please.  It’s just a horrible thing to do, and the both of us would want you to be a better person,” Hishikura said, with a serious tone

Samejima nodded. “What you may think looks or sounds cool is not always the correct thing to do.  Teachers have to act as the responsible adults and would have to discipline you for your actions.”

“But you are a good person, it’s just that we don’t want you to say this word again.  We don’t mean to make you feel bad about yourself, it’s just a serious issue that has to be fixed, and we want you to thrive and become a better person, that’s it,” Hishikura smiled.  

I can’t remember what was happening but I remember we both jumped back/covered our mouths and I thought “Wow, I should screenshot this for later” and here we are. Chazlyn and I decided a little while back that we would watch the Always Watching movie together (using a site called Rabb.it that eventually got angry with us and kept kicking us out but anyway) and that honestly made everything worth it. The constant jokes and screaming of no in the chat paired with some really good scares in the movie were just amazing and I’m happy to have spent my night like this. Opinions on the movie below the cut!

Haha yess!! This is one of my favorite things! It's official. You are now Alex, Chazlyn is now Tim, and I am now Jay. I need to find my old camera when i get home and like a flashlight and then go in the old abandoned shacks on the property i live on and go through the woods and behold! Bad decisions! I will be Jay! Record everything and upload it onto Youtube.
