Happy Chatoru Day!!! ❤️
April 8th marks it!!! So enjoy!
Where there is Chatoru, there is always Marly too.
My favourite Chatoru shipper, Marly ♥
Suzie, why do you like Chatoru anyways? Is there anything special about it or do you like it for the heck of it? I'm just a curious anon.
Hi, Anon! ouo
I enjoy shipping Chatoru because of their personalities. They’re opposites, and that’s what attracts, right?
Anyway, I don’t like referring Casi as a computer program because of how much of a kindhearted soul she really is. She has made friends with all the Ape Catchers and is like family to everyone.
Kei on the other hand is very welcoming and kind, but still a kid that finds everything easygoing and fun. He never backs down from challenges and yes, I do realize that he’s a kid that doesn’t exactly warm up to girls that way yet.
Chatoru is the kind of ship where they’re always watching each other’s backs through thick and thin, and due to that sole reason, they’d be a strong tag team that prevails in missions.
I can always see Casi falling for Kei first as he slowly matures at the end of AE3. She’s ageless, but I still believe that the Professor based her off of Natalie’s age (14). //She’s even an inch shorter than her, but that’s besides the point, aha ;;
Casi is a caregiver. She’s always giving her all, even to her enemies because she’s so easygoing herself. She can bake sweets as friendly gestures so she can get to know Kei a lot more and he’ll happily accept them. (Because what kid could resist sweets?) Plus with Casi’s super strength, it should really interest the boy. He’d find her very special, plus, the fact that she’s open for suggestions, she’d gladly attend his baseball games, even practices.
Kei enjoys the company of his friends, and the more time he’d spend with Casi, the more fond he will become of her. And once he begins to age, he’ll start feeling differently about her. She’s a beauty, and her voice is just as great.
There’s also that saying, “The way to a man’s heart, is through his stomach.” Kei loves food, and Casi loves making it. She can easily teach him a thing or two in the kitchen which will increase their bonding tenfold. Kei would soon manage to cook something up, but he’d look down and apologize for it “not looking very appetizing”, and then she’d reassure him that it’s the thought that counts. Kei would feel motivated by this and would want more time to get it just right until he masters it.
Casi would also love to get out more with Kei’s help, so he teaches her how to play his favourite sport: Baseball. He encourages her to keep going just long enough for them to play alongside each other. Kei loves sharing his talent with her and because he’s very overconfident, he thinks that he’s able to win against her at a race. Due to her super speed of being an android, she easily wins.
So in conclusion, Kei finds Casi a challenge that he’s never going to beat at anything because she’s so perfect. He doesn’t see her as a computer program. More-so someone who is just as strong as him even if they don’t look the part. And he should know when to look at the person from the inside rather than out (Why? Tomoki’s Secret cutscene ring a bell?)
So here you have it, Anon! Hopefully this makes sense. > <
