Okayyy, so lemme explain this. Adrien is also akumatized here, he and Chat Blanc destroy Paris together. Adrien's akumatized, or rather corrupted, form goes by Spotlight. He can do litterly anything he pleases and can take control of Adrien whenever he wants and Adrien is fully aware of what Spotlight do when he's in control. I have more info about him in one of my Instagram posts from February this year (2020)

But if they were sparated? Like Fun Fenton and Hero Phantom? It would sure as shit be a fun way to teach Adrien to respect women though. He has to get a taste of his own medicine. As civilian self he's too afraid of consequences to argue--which is exactly the way Marinette feels about him, especially after he's already punished her for rejecting him at least once.

Now he can't put on the mask and escape the consequences of his actions, and now he has to actively DEAL with the consequences of his super side being an asshole who refuses to take no for an answer.

He's forced to put himself in Marinette's shoes, and he's forced to stay there. No turning a blind eye when his eyes are being pried open by force. He cant laugh and leave because now HE'S the one upset, now it's HIS boundaries that are being violated at every turn with a cutting smirk, now it's jokes being made at HIS expense, just to piss him off.

Now he has to deal with himself, and he can't NOT care. He's about ready to fucking claw the ring off his own hand just to make it stop, and it's only been a few days. He is very keenly and aggravating aware that Ladybug has been putting up with him for months. He doesn't know how she does it.

Excerpt he does. Because if he pisses his super self off, if he drives him away, if he's too aggressive and antagonistic back...

Chat Noir will leave, and he might never come back, and they will never figure out how to rejoin and Adrien will never be a super hero again.

He's not putting up with Chat Noir’s behavior because he likes it. He's putting up with it because he has no choice. And his only stakes in the matter are that he likes being a superhero.

And as Chat Noir literally mocks him, Ladybug puts up with it because she's a goody-two-shoes with no sense of humor and an over inflated sense of responsibility, or better phrased, being a stick in the mud.

Adrien is being forced at baton point to confront just how horrible of a person he really is. And he really wishes it would stop. But it won't, not unless he works with Chat Noir to rejoin so that they're a single person again.

And he hates every single second of it, and comes to appreciate just how much Ladybug has to hate him.
