The Key to Happiness
I can’t believe that my first rave was a little over a year ago at the one and only Hudson Project. Looking back at the pictures from then and me now, I can truly say I am so much happier and healthier. I’ve lost some weight (granted I probably didn’t need to but what can you do when you dance for days straight?). I’ve rid myself from many toxic friendships, I’ve bonded with enlightened souls I’ve met at these shows, as well as discovering so much about myself.
Since then, I’ve travelled the world, gone to shows across Europe- making me fall even more in love with everything about the culture- the artists, the fans, the events even itself. People say that the rave culture is full of drug abuse and is dangerous, but I see the depth to the culture and I know the beauty behind it. Not everyone that attends these festivals are going because they want to do drugs- I can personally say I go sober to shows and festivals and still love every second of them.
In just three days, I’ll be getting on a plane and going to fucking Atlanta to attend Tomorrow World, where I truly cannot wait to see how beautiful it is with my own eyes. With over 160,000 people from over 70 different countries, it’s truly going to be magical. With four days of constant music, five days of camping, being around beautiful surroundings, awesome people and amazing vibes- the festival truly does provide the key to happiness. For all the people that do too many drugs and give this culture a bad reputation, there are least twice as many beautiful people who have been saved in one form or another. Cannot wait to see what this journey has in store this weekend!
