who: sharpay & @goshockyourself where: sharpay's apartment
This was one of two spots where Sharpay felt most comfortable spending time with Sadie, as she knew her. The other happened to be the other girl's place, or generally anywhere that wasn't public. It wasn't that she was ashamed of hooking up with a girl, but that it was happening currently, and a certain basketball player might see them. It was just casual, that's what she was telling herself, though the two were doing practically everything people did in relationships without actually calling it one. Keeping Sadie at an arm's length was comfortable for now, and it seemed to be the preferred distance for her, too. "I actually cooked this time, I swear," she promised, in reference to the Chinese food she'd pretended had been made by herself, but was actually cooked by her parents' home chef. It wasn't much, just pasta, but Sharpay didn't often cook for herself, nevermind anyone else. It was a much more mundane show of affection than she was used to. With two bowls in her hand and the wine already poured, Sharpay took a seat on her sofa after handing Sadie her dinner. "You were busy this week," she said, just an observation that she wasn't sure would be elaborated on.
