New science in practice is always iffy. Instead of a waiting blood sample from Azuriann, Vellissana's arrival at the Hospice was greeted by a semi-conscious woman carried in by Bayuriel, the Shaman that assisted with a patient just days earlier.

Minor to moderate burns on skin covering arms, legs, neck. (Acidic odor on clothing)
Treatment: Superficial Light cleansing not penetrating deeper than the third skin layer in combination with Snow Lilly creme, which will be sent home with the patient upon release.
Ailment:
Infected stab wound below posterior knee socket. Infected tissue indicates the wound could be up to one week old.
Treatment: Anti-inflammatory/hydrating intravenous drip. Festering tissue infection removed with Light Cleanse. Wound closed manually - 17 dissolving stitches & loose bandaging applied. Oral anti-inflammatory tincture prescribed.
Ailment:
Amnesia and possible post-traumatic stress.
Treatment: None thus far. Psychiatric evaluation recommended once patient has had a night's sleep.
It sat uneasily to Vellissana that this patient's captor could possibly come after her and Bayuriel insisted on remaining to guard her. Upon conference with Winter Dawnforge it was decided Bayuriel would be allowed to make rounds of Hospice entrances and be allowed to check on the patient. Security seemed to be planning for a longer stay than Vellissana but she supposed that might actually be safer given the mental trauma Nanea had experienced. It was worrisome that Elly had been left to deal with the captor. She was brought in later that evening.

Ailment:
Stab wound: Entry above anterior eleventh rib (patient's left side) with posterior exit wound. No shrapnel inside. Small lung puncture resulting in collapsed lung.
Patient is said to have ingested a large amount of a potion of her own making (unknown as yet - no indication of poisoning), which appears to have caused clotting- may have saved her own life but may have contributed to the collapsed lung.
Infection around the wounds was lifted from patient with Light.
Outer anterior entry wound required 15 dissolving stitches; Puncture wound in the Lung was tacked with two drops Collagen Sealant; Outer posterior exit wound required 14 dissolving stitches.
Breath sounds seem less labored - Overnight monitoring required to see if the lung will recover. (X-ray attached)

Severe blood loss - despite clotting, patient is showing symptoms of blood loss - elevated temperature and low blood pressure. Pale skin.
Treatment: Transfusion (experimental treatment) of two pints of blood, the first being her own donation; the second from a Shadow priest. Overnight monitoring crucial for indications of shock or rejection.
Ailment:
Acid-scarring over arms, legs, neck, back (Acidic haze and odor covering clothing).
Treatment: Snowlilly creme topically.

Ailment: Eye secretions and debris causing lids to be stuck closed over empty socket.
Treatment: Light cleansing to dissolve debris and pus, removing it as a preventive measure before prostehetic insertion tomorrow. Clean bandage applied beneath eye patch.
