Is it normal to feel stronger about specific character designs of your hearttype? I'm pretty sure that with fictionkin, it's not that uncommon to have memories where a character looks differently than they do canonically. I feel like I have a somewhat similar conceptual experience to that. When there are certain changes to my hearttype's design, I feel closer and more "at home" with the character. For example, one of my hearttypes is Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer // Kimetsu no Yaiba. I typically feel closer to his character when the design has longer hair ((s.1, eps. 3-4, before he cuts it)) and when his face is dirty.
