Concert #42. I saw @charmingliars, @thenewregime and @angelsandairwaves. I have a mixed reaction about last night. The bands were really good but the majority of the crowd was a huge group of assholes. I think it was a sold out show and it was packed and people bump into each other but this was totally different. This was stuff I would've expected at a metal concert which this definitely wasn't. I was getting pushed (intentionally), hit, kicked, stepped on, I stopped counting how many drinks were spilled on me and how long I spent standing in spilled drinks. There were people behind me who yelled through the whole show to the point that when Angels & Airwaves were onstage between them singing and Tom Delonge talking I couldn't really even hear him. I'd been talking a bit to a woman who had been drinking and was enjoying herself which I had no problem with but she went to the bar to get herself a drink and asked what I wanted and I genuinely didn't want anything plus I didn't know her well enough to just take a drink she gets me and she started getting snippy and rude with me for not wanting a drink. I kind of shifted away from her in the crowd but got back around by the end which I figured out after she started literally throwing herself against me. I very rarely if ever leave a concert early but I left early because I was over the crowd and I just wasn't enjoying myself or the show as much. Now that my rant is done. First up was Charming Liars. I hadn't heard of them before but I really liked them! They're definitely a band I'll start listening to. Second up was The New Regime who was also really good. They did songs like Surrender, It Hurts, Everything's Magic and the Adventure.
