Apocalypse Now - an ambitious movie with some great acting and scenes. Lt. Colonel Kilgore (KILL-GORE) was my favorite...I have a soft spot for Robert Duvall The music, the mayhem, the certainty. That and his love of the smell of napalm. And some other killer lines:
Kilgore: You can either surf, or you can fight! Willard: Are you crazy, Goddammit? Don't you think its a little risky for some R&R? Kilgore: If I say its safe to surf this beach, Captain, then its safe to surf this beach! I mean, I'm not afraid to surf this place, I'll surf this whole fucking place!
Kilgore: Charlie don't surf!
Kilgore: Any man brave enough to fight with his guts strapped on him can drink from my canteen anyday.
