Mother's Day || Drabble
Charleah sat with crossed legs sketching a new bloom her garden has offered her. Her face was content, the corners of her mouth pulling up into the softest of smiles. A gentle breeze blew the flyways of her braided hair. There was a pause in the constant scratching sounds of pencil on paper. «Jade…you’ve been standing there for quite a while. Are you okay?»
The she wolf stood with a slightly nervous expression, hands behind her back. “Yes. Sorry. I umm…” She rolled her ankle in the soil before presenting her mother with a very live flower from Bilgewater, one that Char hadn’t been able to find before. “Happy Mother’s Day.”
Hands clasped against her chest, Char look genuinely surprised. «Is that today? Sephora… You know I don’t ask for anything on these-»
“I am aware. But… With dad not on the Isles all that often, you deserve a gift. Even if it’s little. Even if you do not want it.. I know you have been searching for this flower. ”
Another pause from Charleah. She started at the flower with admiration, it’s petals were bright red like a certain bounty hunter’s hair, with poisonous leaves to match. Pale hands outstretched to receive the flora, and when she did the reaper set it down next to her.
That was when she stood and embraced her child, stroking her hair in a motherly fashion. “M-Mother?”
Char would not let her daughter see her cry, but she would speak in a very low tone, quieter than a whisper. So low that it didn’t even sound real.

Pale as pale gets without any blemishes. Tattoos on her back and thighs featuring flowers, birds and geometric shapes. Her back also has an array of scars from when Thresh beat her.
The most interesting aspect is that during the Harrowing, Charleah’s skin turns a bit more translucent like Kalista’s  giving her a scary feel.
