Flicker won’t do anything to harm the kids, he doesn’t want Ash to yell at him anyways, but Flicker will give them all very disappointed stares that even put parents disappointed stares to shame.

Leon is really enamored with Flicker, and his own Charizard, Cham, is jealous.
So As Leon is letting and cooing of Flicker, Cham goes over to Ash who is watching Leon with a happy smile and demands Ash’s attention and pets
Cham is hoping to make both Leon and Flicker jealous, but it backfires because Flicker is just so used to having Ash’s attention split between so many Pokémon.
Leon notices and gets so much more happier because!!! Cham is letting another trainer pet her!!!! That’s really big since Cham literally hates everyone else surrounding Leon, excluding Hop.
Yes this means even Kabu is on her dislike list.
So now Cham is stuck letting another trainer spread their scent all over her instead of Leon.
But.... Ash scent actually doesn’t smell all that bad the more she focuses on it.
It’s kinda like one of those smells that’s a combination of things, but you have to go back and sniff it again to figure it out. But the more she takes in his scent, the more little things pop up
Soon Cham, in the span of like 10 minutes of pets and scritches, finds out that Ash doesn’t have a set scent like every other living being on earth. It fluctuates, yet it always smells really good.
Soon, when both Charizards are put away, Leon confessed to Ash that Cham doesn’t like anyone else but Hop and even then she doesn’t even let him pet her.
Ash gets all blushy but points out that Cham probably did it just to get Leon’s attention because charizards are just naturally competitive of each other and that Cham might have been jealous.
This causes some grief for Leo but Ash quickly wipes it away with a suggestion that Leon spends a little one-on-one time with Cham instead of all together with his whole team
