PESTERING  CURIOSITY  worms itself into an insidious creature,  and chews at him.  it has been there for far longer than he dares even acknowledge  —  it maybe has been since the very beginning of it all  ;  long ignored for the sake of their bond and the fear of breaking it.  here,  though,  in the comfort of a booth in the back of leblanc,  long after the sign has been flipped and the door locked behind sojiro’s evening goodbye,  he finally begs the question.
