akira is autistic!
speaks in an often dry tone and has trouble deciphering other people’s tone of voice. he can usually detect sarcasm if it’s really obvious, though.

13. What gets them flustered
generally speaking, it’s not very easy to get akira flustered. any form of flirting from someone he likes will generally do it, though.

he prefers his life after getting arrested to before. he has more friends, he’s closer to sojiro and futaba than he ever was to his parents, and he feels like he’s doing some good with his life. he dreads the end of his probation.
akira has a very dry sense of humor and will often tease or be mean to friends as a joke. he will apologize and back off if someone tells him they’re bothered by it, though. unfortunately, he also has trouble telling when someone isn’t comfortable with his snark anymore, so it’s something that needs to be communicated to him.
