their [re]-"introductory" thread is still ongoing, but Vash has been struck by Chara's sense of independence first and foremost. it seems to be what they let themself be guided by, in lieu of any group of friends or an adult who walks alongside them (which is concerning, but considering his "newness" & how things are on NML currently Vash is unfortunately more used to this sight than not).

Chara is a kind kid. someone who's evidently eager to please, as well as yet another person who's familiar with Vash's past self enough to extend that kindness at any opportunity.
