Belle Trosting, she’s just turned seventeen, raised by a group of girls and women who steal and con for a living. as a coming of age ritual, she has to organize and execute her own con with only the help of her best friend, and her nemesis who she’s sure is going to try and sabotage her at least five times. she’s very into makeup, afraid of clowns and caves, has hair down to her waist even though her mothers and aunts are always on her to cut it already. she has a love of antiques and just generally old stuff so she always steals that instead of ‘stuff that is actually valuable’ quoting one of her sisters. she loves smoothies, cries a lot because it’s something she can’t help, her and her best friend sneak out of the house at 2 am to try and climb street lamps. she has the shortest fingernails even though she tries to grow them out, and a pet cat named Susan that loves to follow her on missions and often is the cause for many failed operations. don’t call her Bella unless you want your face graffitied with sharpie, or your car defaced with spray paint. that is a lesson that Crestan- the new boy in this group of all women- learns the hard way.

so we got Wallace Emilio Windsor and he’s a kid who’s never really fit in anywhere. he really really loves to work with his hands, and everyone’s always considered him weird because of the small inventions he makes. he has some friends, but they keep him around as more of a joke than anything. he’s super afraid of being humiliated, even though it’s something that happens to him constantly. his mother is italian, and she taught him how to cook, so he’s pretty good if he does say so himself. his dad was peruvian, but taken on by a ukranian foster family, so their house is a mix of cultures. he’s definitely adhd, school is not the easiest for him, but he survives only because the art teacher lets him use her room to experiment every break he has. he’s allergic to cats even though he adores them to death, he would snow mobile all day if he could, he can never tame his brown waves that have a tendency to stick up everywhere. he plays piano but wishes he could learn guitar. he has an older brother who’s so much better than him in every way. he collects sunglasses, can take anyone in taekwondo class but struggles with standing up straight and still half the time. he’s always bruised because he’s a terrible klutz except for when he’s working on a project. most people call him wally, sometimes ace
