The “Let’s see whose interested” Commission Sale:
Howdy folks, if you’re seeing this you probably already know that my name is Dave and I am a 3D artist. A few years ago on this very blog I tried to pick up some commissions, for various reasons I didn’t get any bites. In any case I think it’s the right time for me to try and get some commissions going again.Â
As you can see my prices are: $20 for a base character model, $35 for a model with diffuse textures, and $50 dollars for both of those with a fully poseable rig. Depending on the complexity/simplicity of the character the rates might be a little different.
These are pretty low prices for the average amount of time I’m going to have to spend on them but I’m honestly not sure the interest is even there. So let’s call this an opening day sale for now. If things go well the rates will eventually have to increase but it’s a great deal.
I’m going to have Five slots available right now with the possibility of an additional Five at these rates based on interest:
What you get: The Maya scene file of your model and/or rig, a rendered turntable of your character (posed if rigged), as well as any and all textures. We can discuss anything in addition.
I try to keep my character models relatively low in polygon count so that’s worth keeping in mind, I imagine I’ll be down with any and all character requests whether they be Original characters or based on existing franchises. But I do have the right to say no to a character. In general I would say keep things suitable for work however. If you’re unsure about your choice of character just ask and we can see.
Payment would preferably be in American dollars via paypal but I’m flexible.
