THE UNDERWORLD.

Regarding the underworld, Mallory has never stepped inside more than what is required of him to do so. As a guide, Mallory’s task is to guide the malevolent and violent spirits down to the underworld. But, he does not need to venture in. He simply takes them to the gates of Hades and lets cerberus keep them until someone comes to help guide them through. Cerberus is rather friendly toward him, on occasion he’ll stay with the dogs for a while. Again, he does NOT venture in. He simply does not WANT to. He wants to avoid his father at all costs. Though he is fully knowledgeable about the underworld, it’s various locations, and it’s inhabitants. Mallory doesn’t welcome there, he just doesn’t. It always makes him feel anxious. Seeing as though he has no relationship with his father, He doesn’t stay around the place for conversation. Regarding the other gods that reside / frequently visit the underworld. (such as hermes, persephone, thanatos, hekate, melinoe etc.), he has only spoken / interacted with a few. Primarily Hekate ( @sorcelle ) , for she has visited him since his childhood. He considers her to be his aunt. Regarding Persephone, he respects her but avoids her as well due to the fact he is the child of her husband who cheated on her with lourdes ( mallorys’ mother ). He is friendly towards hermes, though he has not met thanatos and other underworld gods ( including his father ) .

since sess isnt going to participate in valentine’s day, i will touch on the yōkai equivalent : mating rituals! instead of gifting prospective partners chocolates, or flowers for a yōkai they take a more . . . practical approach. at least, in part. matches are only made possible by the pursuer proving their worth in strength first and foremost, and ability to provide. emotions are not typically present in yōkai partners -- at least, not always / initially. but even still, someone like sesshōmaru would still desire to prove his capabilities as a strong partner by presenting his intended with gifts he hunted. strong beasts, other yōkai, their enemies or perhaps other suitors, to show how unworthy they were. that is typically how it begins; and then, depending on the yōkai, the gifts may be more personal. handmade kimonos or garments that hold a personal touch ( in seshōmaru’s case, perhaps colors of his crest / house; or colors / patterns he knows they prefer and that look good on them ); weapons crafted for their use and protection; possibly small trinkets or jewelry that the one he is courting likes, not but in excess. even he, as yōkai noble, prefers not to have much in the way of jewelry, in part due to personal taste and to be practical, given that he spends much time being engaged in battle. these are all traits of showing strength, dedication, a willingness ( and ability ) to provide for various needs; not only the base ones, like protection and food, but also that he knows their preferences, has watched them with a keen eye, and listened with a keen ear, and tailored his courting style and gifts to compliment them and their interests / desires, while keeping true to his own traditions and desires.

-- s1-4 focused only. AU: ana has managed to keep her powers without isobel. she can read kryptonian now, but thinks it’s a magical language instead of an alien one. That changes after the black ship.

-- has far better things to do than be some beard for two absolutely hopeless grumpy gays. regularly makes time for dressage no matter how many alien threats or college degrees she's starting towards.

lilian luthor (she/her)

- abuse victim who turned a little cruel, not quite perpetuating the cycle but not nice to her son either. she loves him, but she’s tired of trying to warn him

- she killed julian out of ppd and desperation to save him from his abuse. it wasn’t right but she also literally wasn’t herself so she’s still processing how she feels about it.

- she came back from the dead due to meteor radiation (who would have known lex’s yearly visits truly would resurrect her?) she is a revenant meteor freak, able to control blood.
