Backstory:Â
Atlas SkotĂĄdi Astrelle, heir to the throne of AstrĂłs and âA child of the sun and moonâ. From the day he was born he was cherished and beloved by the whole of AstrĂłs, the charming little prince of a cosmic realm. Born to his father and mother Orion and Serena Astrelle, throughout his childhood he had been the pride and joy of his parents, being capable of performing light and darkness magic and being skilled in political affairs he had been the star among the realms political leaders. His brother, Andrias however hadnât been so beloved, always playing second fiddle to his big brother but Atlas had never treated his little brother any differently and in their childhood strived to make sure his brother knew he loved him. As the boys got older their parents would send them off to begin their attendance of Pleia, here Atlas who had once been so beloved struggled to find any connection. As his brother had been the more socially adept among the two, he managed to make friends and socialize whereas Atlas did not. Over the course of all four years of attendance Atlas obsessed over his studies and made no efforts to befriend anyone until the night of his senior magiâs ball he met his would be wife, MelinoĂ«. She became his dearest friend over the course of their senior year and would effortlessly beat him in the occasional spar. Monthâs and months would pass and the two friends would quietly wantâŠmore but both were too shy to admit so. The day of their graduation, sheâd admit her feelings for him and the two would be intertwined from then on. Years would pass and the two lovers would be wed and rule over AstrĂłs together, Atlas had the love of his people, his family and his dearest wife. Though his life was peaceful and wonderful, tragedy would strike in the sudden death of MelinoĂ«. From then on his life was meaningless, he had no passion, no drive, no will to exist in a world without her. So to honor his lost love heâd pledge himself to the Guild of Cthonis, her family guild and would leave the throne to his brother to rule.Â
On his leave Atlas would study and theorize ways to possibly bring his beloved back, nights and days he would spend obsessing over her. He would soon find himself researching and even practicing the most wicked of magics in an effort to bring her back. Only in his demented anguish did he find those who he believed could help him, The Coven of The Seven Princes. Thus, he would bargain with their spirits and strike up a deal to give him back his most beloved, MelinoĂ«.Â
