Mike…his fathers name is Mike, but Alix couldn't give two shits about that man. For all he cared, he  could drop dead before Alix would ever call that bastard “dad”, even if biologically he is. For most of his life his parents were not normal, not comparable to any of the families of nymphwood. Other families were loving and warm, but Alix never got that warm fuzzy feeling looking at his family. looking at the family only made his stomach writhe in agony, and his skin burn and itch. His mother, Honō, was an immigrant from Japan who fell in love with a Cop. She loved him so much, she uprooted herself from everything and everyone she knew. Leaving behind a disapproving father and mother who had never liked Mike for being American, at least that's what Alix had always thought. His mother never really talked about her life in Japan, but it's not like she was allowed. Any comment, any whisper, any mention of her past would infuriate Mike to the point of threats…and if not that then he’d beat her past out of her. No matter what Mike did, Honō never let him lay a hand on Alix. Throughout it all she cherished and protected her son, her love being the only thing to keep him from retribution. For years all that Alix knew was that his father was a monster, a cruel, vile, monster… who didn't deserve to exist. For so long rage persisted in Alix’s mind, thoughts of violence that no child should ever have to think of, his mind often flashing to revenge fantasies where his dad chokes in a crimson pool and Alix smiles, being rid of him. Until his little sister Ashley was born Alix had never given into his fantasies, but then it happened. Mike was drunk and in one of his tirades and little Ashley, who had been 6 at the time was in the way. With a strike she layed sobbing as Honō got up to console her and yell at Mike, Alix saw nothing but black. His body moving on its own towards Mike as if he’d been possessed. Gripping his shoulder his hand shook and began to emit heat as his fingernails dug into his “fathers” flesh. And with a breath only a voice spoke through his mind, smoky yet beastly it said one thing as Mike screamed attempting to tear Alix's now searing hand from him…”Burn”.

Even though she felt terrible her father just held her and told her “She was perfect” but even hearing that she just felt numb and in the back of her head she could only think to ask one question “was mom a witch too?” but she couldn't bring herself to ask. Soon enough after a bit of persistence on her father's end, she would enroll in courses on witchcraft at her school and be Fastrack to Pleia College. There she would meet her Coven, her best friends. A Witch of Elixir, Victoria and a Witch Hellfire, Alix. And for once she didn't question if they cared for her, they were her friends, her ride or dies and they would take over the world together…figuratively and maybe literally. 

Born to her mother Suzhen and father Hao Mingyùn, Victoria spent her life being groomed for one thing and one thing only, power. Raised in a city off the coast of the fallen remnants of serpentine on the planet Ophis, Vicky prior to her own birth was expected to be a wielder of great magic and fated to be the second rise of the witch of Envy, Leviathan. The remnants of the cult of Leviathan were so subtly ingrained in the Mingyùn family that nearly every child born in the family was a magic user, a poison source magic user to specify. Her grandmother had even been so powerful as to create the most intense of poison spells as to stop a heart within a single touch. As of her birth however her father would be disappointed, discovering his child prematurely born and suffering some form of a magic deficiency. With such a weak girl, how could she possibly be his child, how would she possibly be the reincarnation of a witch capable of destroying and banishing an entire realm…she was weak…a failure. So soon enough Hao would ensure an heir to a legacy he could be proud of. Around the age of 9 Vicky had grown stronger, seemingly being a healthy little girl aside from her lack of magic, she would spend her days with her mother who had taken up the task of being the girls sole source of love as her father and his side of the family didn't seem to care enough to even look her way. At the time, Hao had been focused on his son, Vicky’s little brother, Bo. oh how she loved him dearly, before every magic lesson with her father she’d take him to the family gardens and play with him, running around and laughing. But one day, her laughter would be silenced. Her father had somehow got it in his head that little Bo would be the heir to the power of Leviathan. Seeking to bring out the power he had believed to be in him, Hoa would force his powers to present themselves unfortunately this had been through an attack on Victoria. Seeing this as an opportunity  to prove her worth to the family, Hao forced his young son to attack his sister. But unfortunately the pressure and escalation had led to Vicky’s first display of her magic, resulting in her poisoning her father and brother, nearly killing the both of them as well as her mother. Soon enough she’d be removed from her fathers custody and taken to live with her more…stable relatives although contact with her father was maintained daily for the express purpose of him pushing her to fulfill a magical destiny of greatness and control. Yet from that moment on…she lost any real control of her life she had prior.

On earth Ayden’s life once more became calm and quiet, Ayden kept to himself but managed various friendships throughout school. Maintaining a deep friendship with his “cousin” Sarai as she was far more of a loner compared to the others. Ayden was contemptuous to the eye of their parents but deep down, they had some semblance of knowing they were not meant for earth. That connection to the magic dimension deepend and so did another feeling: a drive, a passion, a fire.
