Hi, again, tumblr. I'm sorry to inform you that my interest in intimate flesh eating has not waned, and that the condition is indeed terminal. Please deliver my remains to my significant other so that they may feast upon them and make us one.
Anyway, that cute little drabble about the Lamb carving out Narinder's heart and eating it as a form of consummation is (almost) done! The... ending is giving me a little trouble, and so to buy myself an eensy bit more time for writing and editing, I'm posting the link to the finished first half of the story now for you to enjoy!
I wanted to post the actual story, but it was too long—tumblr hates me—so I'm just uploading it on AO3 instead.
In essence, this is the preamble—an artsy buildup and smattering of character interaction before the actual heart carving begins. I cut it in this specific way not just because it was a convenient point, but to allow for people not interested in the gore bits to experience a decent chunk of the story. There are implications, but nothing explicit.
Also, I'd like to just mention that I've really only played COTL up to Leshy, I haven't really read any fanfic, and I've only spent a moderate amount of time on tumblr. Any and all writing quirks in regards to the setting come from that limited exposure, so if anything seems weird, just treat it as AU!
Anyway, I'm rambling. I'd like to shout @of-fallen-gods-cotl again for giving me this idea—and basically being the reason I wrote this—and say that the next part will probably—maybe—hopefully be out soon. It needs refining. TvT
