Quick thoughts on chapter 928
Can’t be the only one who paid attention to these panels above. Luffy giving away valuable food coupons to an old prisoner he saved before made me think of that how much the Whole cake Island events must have had a strong influence on him.
Yes, he is still that silly kid-hearted dreamer who is thirsty for some adventures and food is still a big part of his life in general but I think his hunger strike was very important for him to go through. Now he is obviously less selfish with food and values even more Sanji’s “don’t throw food away” policy.
In my opinion, character developments like this are one of the reasons One Piece never gets dull.
Komurasaki may have a beautiful appearance but honey this girl becomes super ugly the second you start talking to her
