Differences in translations (fin, jap & eng)
Luffy:Ā Ā No matter how many times you kicked! Youāre the one that gets hurt!!
Nami:Ā Luffy!!! why you continue!? No matter what the reason was, he...
Luffy:Ā Shut up!
Reiju:Ā Sanji, shall we stop?
Sanji:Ā Letās continue.
Nami: Luffy! Why?! Whatever his reasons are, to treat you that way... Luffy: Shut up!!
While reading the newest OP volume in Finnish my attention was caught on the panels below where Nami tries to reason Luffy who is ignoring her comments. I ended up making a small comparison between these two translations and the original one and in my opinion, there is a big difference between these translations. (ThanksĀ @namibean for borrowing and translating the Japanese scan~!)
So, compared to the original Japanese dialogues, in the English translation (by Mangastream)Ā Nami seems to take Luffyās sideĀ while being mad at SanjiĀ and then there is angry captain Luffy who doesnāt want to hear her reasoning. In Finnish translation, Nami seems to be mad at both of them (Sanji for kicking Luffy unconscious but also Luffy for continuing the argument) but the captainās reaction in Finnish translation is more addressed to Nami whereas English one sounds more like a ācommonā comment to end the debate quickly.Ā Ā
My conclusion was that (official) Finnish translations wereĀ āmore reliableā because they seemed to follow more the original script whereas it looks like Magastream took some liberties in their translation (another good example isĀ āLord Sanjiā-comment in the same chapter) and to be honest after the comparison, the English one sounds now a bit biased.
Donāt get me wrong because I do appreciate the people who work hard with online translations but the reason I brought this up was that in my opinion, the translator/translation team should always stick in the original script because even a slight change in translation might change the whole meaning of the characterās dialogue...
Sometimes I wanted to know a scene that Sanjina cries after fighting with Luffy (chapter 844) please~~~(And I like your art style)
This scene will definitely in my fanfic āCastleāā¦
Iām glad that Luffy understands that Sanji would never just completely change who he is. He understands that doing this is causing Sanji far more pain than itās causing him.
Luffy didn't believe on Sanji for a second š
He said he would do a hunger strike š
Idk just tears and emotions on this chapter

Pudding Isnāt What She Seems
Thereās a few things that are really bothering me about the last few chapters, but whatās been bouncing around my mind the most is the theme of trust thatās run subtly through them. And the sympathetic feelings toward Pudding that have changed for me after rereading the chapters a couple more times.Ā
In 845, we get this series of panels. At this point, Pudding has already rambled on about their feelings, cried, blushed and reacted in a sympathetic way to Sanjiās story. A story which was shared out of trust, seeing as Pudding is the only one Sanji feels he can talk to. A part of this may be due to the fact that Pudding is playing the part of an ally. Sheās told him about trying to help Luffy and Nami, and so now in Sanjiās eyes, sheās someone who cares about his feelings. He thinks sheās his only ally in his current situation.
But look at the third panel with the lighting flashing in the room, and the thunder clapping in the background. Now imagine that animated. We know for a fact thatās the storm Big Mom created after Luffy and Nami defeated Cracker, and sent an army their way. Sanji is standing there, embracing Pudding and talking about their wedding day, while his friends are being attacked somewhere in the distance. Itās such an ominous scene, in context. Especially because Pudding is very likely in on it.Ā
Why?
i think luffyās tooth might be gone for good
