Developers wanted!
Hey Lambda here!
If you read the last post, you'll know where this is going.
Meteorite Development is currently open to new developers! We are currently looking for
an artist (texturing and UI stuff)
a 3D modeller
and a programmer (GDScript)
If you are interested, you can join the Meteorite Development server HERE!
Check out the Meteorite Development community on Discord - hang out with 8 other members and enjoy free voice and text chat.
Another note, if you wish to join, You'd probably want to make a GitHub account first if you haven't already had one, that's the platform where all changes will happen
Meteorite Development Blog #1: Burnout, after burnout, after burnout.
Hello! This is Lambda, I'm the head of Meteorite Development and this is our first actual development log! How neat!
ANYWAYS. It's been a year now since this development group has formed, and currently, only me and Pyre have been working on M.E.T.E.O.R. (Yes that's the game that this group name comes from!), And it's been quite tough, me being someone doing all the coding, music, sound effects, texturing, modelling. it's just a lot, and it's hard to keep motivation
I absolutely love this game's concept, having to survive 2 weeks on an abandoned moon/planet, sent down with only the most basic of tools, and a power plant at your drop site. it's up to you to keep the power up for those two in-game weeks, and survive until evacuation.
It's just so tough being the only person doing all this, Pyre is my ideas guy and a VA for my game and that's about it, nobody else has been interested in lending a hand, to the point it's genuinely tough to feel the motivation to even *open* Godot.
Anyways that's the devlog for right now, sorry that this was short, just wanted to provide an update here as to what's been happening. Thank you for your support!
Prototype now available!
