Will Sokka eventually get a dragon of his own to ride even though he's not a Firebender? He could ride Xin's wife (Uhh, that sounds very wrong) Or ride one of Xin's kids (Ugh, I'm making it worse!) Or is Sokka doomed to remain dragonless.

Yep, as it happens, Xin’s search for more of his kind will pay off during Part 2. He shall meet his match and one day there will be little Xin’s all over the place, setting everyone they don’t like on fire xD
Sokka isn’t going to have a dragon of his own, he’s not going to ride Xin’s wife or kids yes it sounds very wrong, wtf Sokka?! xD, but he’s going to have an animal companion of his own by Part 3.
But on that topic... a non-firebender will ride a dragon one day, it’s just not going to be Sokka xD
